Secto Design’s Owalo lamp collection is made of formpressed Finnish birch. The lamp shades are handmade by highly skilled Finnish craftsmen. The shades are available in birch, white laminated and black laminated birch as well as walnut veneered birch. The steel frames of the black lamps are painted with a matte black texture coating and the steel frames of the other lamps are painted with a frosty white texture coating. The Owalo lamps’ lightsources are energy-saving: the pendant lamp has LED and the other models have compact fluorescent tubes.

Seppo Koho (b. 1967) is a Finnish architect who has studied at the University of Industrial Arts in Helsinki and at the Tampere University of Technology. Seppo Koho is the designer behind Secto Design lamps.
