The Wire Collection, designed by Jasper Overgaard and Christian Dyrman, was conceived as an innovative synthesis of two distinct and time-honored crafts: saddle making and precision metalwork. “With the Wire Bar Stool we aimed for a piece of furniture that works beautifully standing alone, but yet with strong references to the rest of the Wire Collection. We wanted to make an elegant stool that substantiates the idea of using traditional saddle making techniques combined with a cleverly thought steel structure. We like the idea of keeping structural elements and different materials separated and to focus on how graceful interactions between materials and individual parts can be achieved.“ All Wire Collection pieces are handmade in Denmark by skilled craftsmen and women. All pieces are made to order.
