The collection called Ècru is designed by Danish Cecilie Manz. Écru beige is a natural colour of baby alpaca wool, which means that the fibres are not dyed. Écru is made from 100% baby alpaca wool, which is known for its unique properties. The wool is thermoregulatory, meaning it can be up to seven times warmer than sheep's wool when it's cold, while appearing light and cool when temperatures rise. This is because alpaca wool fibres are hollow, and therefore naturally insulating. In addition, alpaca fibres are water-repellent and breathable, and the wool is hypoallergenic as it contains no lanolin, making it suitable for allergy sufferers.
