Jonas Wagell’s Kite Club Chair is created with softly inviting shapes at its core, shown through its curved back that is made in a single upholstered piece to breathe a sense of elegance into any space. With its character being unveiled only upon closer inspection, the Kite club chair features sophisticatedly quilted seams from the top to the bottom on the curved back, making for a touch of refined craftsmanship while highlighting the voluminous shape of the very back itself.

Jonas Wagell
Jonas Wagell is a Swedish architect and designer born in 1973. The studio JWDA was founded in 2008 and is today located in a converted car repair shop in central Stockholm, though collaborations span from Scandinavia to Asia, from Italy to North America. Wagell is trained in graphics, communication, furniture design and architecture at schools including Konstfack University College of Arts and Crafts and Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm, as well as Parsons School of Design in New York. He was introduced to design through his interest in graphics, print and typography which has resulted in a simplistic and clear yet expressive design language.
