The shape of the back is what characterizes RAM. The
harmonic lines and dropping curve on the slightly over-
sized back mimics the shape of a rams head and horns.
The RAM chair is created with the intention to make a
dining chair that is flexible in its form and function so it
will easily match different interiors and tables. RAM is
designed with two different leg types, steel or wood,
which each bring its own character to the chair. With
the steel legs, the chair is stackable and therefore it
is perfect for environments where extra chairs often
is needed.
Steffensen & Würtz
The danish designduo Thomas Steffensen and Pia Würtz has since 2010 worked as independent designers with furniture, interior design and product development. They are both trained industrial designers from Aalborg University and known for their user-orientated approach to design.
Their design often has a characteristic look, an exciting angle or an elegant stature – all in a way that makes sense both functionally, technically and aesthetically.
